Finally we had the possibility to create own Caves, Intermissions and Games!!

In late 1986 First Star Software finally released the long-awaited Construction Kit. The Construction-Kit contains 2 Parts. The first Part includes the Kit, the second Part the "Game Module".

The only Disadvantage was that own-made Games did run only with the "Game Module". With this Construction Kit we were not able to create self-running Games.

Included was also "Boulder Dash IV". This game wasn't a self-running game like the other releases from First Star Software, "Boulder Dash IV" was playable within the C.kit, the game module. And you have the possibility to change the caves of the game.....

I think the Construction Kit was the Program that made Boulder Dash so special. There were surely thousands of People who created own Levels (and possibly still do).
